Commentary
The "Dueling Songs" top ten lists are a series of top ten lists that compare and contrast two songs.
The songs are selected for having some common element, such as an anti-media sentiment or a female heartache theme. The content is not intended to be humorous but it may be interesting to our readers to see lyrics or other commonalities of each song laid out in a top ten list. While not funny, the content may be considered clever or interesting.
We began writing this theme about five years prior to the month we published the first Dueling Songs list, and our initial rollout in October 2026 includes only three lists, all written about five years ago. Perhaps publishing these three will give us inspiration for developing new material on this theme? Only time will tell!
